That's a saving of over £25!! This deal is a Web exclusive to Superdrug so can only be purchased through their website. But with free delivery with a spend of at least £10, there's really nothing stopping you!!

This is a gift set so it's perfect for a present for a Makeup obsessed friend or for yourself! It's also a great starter kit for anyone new to makeup. It comes beautifully gift wrapped as so.
Inside the pink tissue paper, the products are protected with a plastic wrap.

I- Divine Storm Palette (RRP £7.99:
This is a 12 eyeshadow palette, complete with a mirror. There are a mix of mattes and shimmers included, including a matte black (perfect for a smokey eye) and taupe colour (a great neutral transition colour). This is a great little palette for travelling due to the wide colour choices.
Swatches:

Precious Metals Highlighting Palette (RRP £9.99):
This highlighter quad includes three cream and one powder highlighter. It comes in a sleek compact, with a mirror and small brush. The brush isn't worth keeping as it is very rough and wouldn't work well with applying any of the highlighters.
Swatches:
The three cream higlighters are very smooth and highly pigmentated. I'm not a fan of cream products, especially when applied over a powder foundation, however these creams are quite thick and do not look like they would disturb the powder. I will have to test them out but I really want these highlighters to work for me! I actually think that if the quad had 2 creams and 2 powder higlighters it would be much better.

Blush by 3 – Pink Lemonade, (RRP £9.99):
This trio of blushes contains two powder blushers and one cream blush (middle). These come in three light, pink shades which are perfect for lighter skin tones. However because they are so pigmentated, they will also show up beautifully on darker skin.
Swatches:
I was pleasantly surprised at the texture of the cream blush. It is extremely pigmented and you do not need much priduct when applying it.
I already own a Sleek Blusher Trio in Pink Sprint and these are also highly pigmentated and I only need to lightly press my brush against the product to pick it up. These blushers will last forever!
My Sleek Blushers:

Eye & Cheek – See You At Midnight (RRP £9.99):
This compact has 4 eyeshadows and 2 blushers. The blushers have shimmer and a very creamy texture and would work better as as eyeshadow colours. The set also comes with a brush and dual ended rubber applicator. (Very strange as it isn't even a sponge top applicator! I don't know how anyone could use these without damaging the product.)
Swatches:
(First two are the blushers)Brow Kit - Dark, (RRP £8.49):
I've always has my eye on this product but my shade (dark) was always sold out in stores. This was one of the products that swayed me to purchase this bundle. This product is identical to Benefits Brow Whizz that costs £23! I will be comparing my eyebrow kits in a seperate blogpost. Like the Brow Whizz it also comes with 2 brushes and a pair of tweezers. The brushes are actually very good and I would use these with the cream and powder duo when travelling.
Swatches:

Full Fat Lash mascara, (RRP £6.99):
I've not tried a Sleek mascara before and to be perfectly honest it's not a product that I would have purchased individually. I was quite pleasantly surprised to see that the shape of the mascara wand was unique to any mascara I own. The ball point allows you to precisely apply the mascara, focusing at the tip and then wrigging to the end of the lashes. The shape actually means that you coat a shorter section of your lashes at a time, making the entire process longer. I also didn't feel that there is a lot of product inside and I prefer mascaras which apply more product with a single coat.

Gloss Me – Hawaii Honey , (RRP £4.99):
I was really unsure about this colour, I'm not really an orange gal, but it's always great to try new things! The lipgloss is actually very sheer with a soft shimmer. It feels great on the lips and isn't too sticky. The wand is very thin and straight; most lipglosses these days have fancy shaped wands but this wand shape shape works just as well.
Swatch:
This bundle is definitely a bargain. Whether you're new to Sleek or a die hard Sleek fan, you must try this out! :) Copy and Paste the link below to take you to the deal:

MUA Winter Sale Haul 2

Hello gorgeous people. Hope you are all looking forward to the weekend. :) Whilst browsing the MUA website, I was delighted to see that their Winter Sale with up to 75% off was still on and that they had added some more items! I could not resist making a second purchase and picking up some additional makeup goodies to add to my collection. I spent a whopping total of.... £13.35 (including postage)!
I grabbed three of the Intense Glosses (75p, originally £2) in the shades Kiss And Tell, Lips Are Sealed and Quick Smooch (from left to right).
The pinks have great pigmentation, whereas as the orange shade is more sheer and has flecks of glitter. They apply smoothly to the lips and do not feel sticky. These could easily be worn by themselves or over a lipstick to intestify the colour. I wish I had picked up more!!
Shimmer Kiss Blusher: Pink Shimmer Kisses.
I have yet to use this on my cheeks and fear it may be slightly too light for my skin, but it is a beautiful product and the colours could be used individually or swirled together.
£1 (originally £3)
I have been eyeing up this highlighting powder for a while but it has always been sold out. I grabbed the shade Irediscent Gold and love the way it applies to the skin. This is my favourite item from this haul. This was a full price product costing £3.
Swatches:
I am going to a wedding soon and was in need of a mint nail polish to match my outfit. I picked up the shade Pistachio for 40p (originally £1). I can't wait to try out this colour!
I was intrigued by the Lip Boom and at £1 (originally £3) I thought I'd purchase it. It was difficult to see how the colour of the lipstick and lipgloss would be on the website but I picked up the shade 'Let Me Know.' I am impressed with the lipstick colour; a burgandy/ purple but unfortunately not with the lipgloss. When applied to the lips it was very gritty and uncomfortable. I won't be using the lipgloss again but the lipstick will be one of my new favourites.
Swatches: (from left to right) lipstick with gloss, gloss, lipstick.
The first of the two eyeshadow palettes I purchased is the Starry Night palette. The colours are beautiful in the palette, however they are not very pigmentated and will need a black or white eyeshadow base to make them pop.
£2 (originally £4).
Swatches:
The second palette was the Glamour Days Palette. This palette has both shimmer and matte shades and a wide range of colours. The pigmentation is much better on this palette. I do love this palette and was disappointed when it arrived with a smashed shadow. :(
£2 (originally £4)
Swatches:
I would definitely recommend checking out the Winter Sale and grabbing some bargains. :)

Bye lovelies, until next time. Stay happy, healthy and appreciative of life. Xx

Eyeshadow Palette Storage

Hi Girls. Yesterday I showed you my necklace storage so I thought today I'd go back to makeup and show you how I store my eyeshadow palettes.
Having my palettes on show encourages me to use them and reminds me of what I have! (Too many!) I liked the idea of using a letter sorter to organise them but I know I have too many palettes for one or even two letter holders.
When decorating my room I bought a couple of packs of the white skubb foldable boxes from Ikea. They cost £10 and you get six boxes in three different sizes. I orginally used just the cuboid box for my palettes then had to add a small cube box as the amount of my eyeshadow palettes grew.
The boxes are white and match the colour theme of my room, you can get them in different colours and patterns.
I prefer this way of organising them as I can stand my palettes up and can easily access them. If my collection grows (which I'm sure it will!) Then I will just switch out the size of the boxes.
You can not order online from Ikea but I would definitely recommend a trip there to pick up supplies and storage solutions for your beauty room.

Bye lovelies, until next time. Stay happy, healthy and appreciative of life. :) xxx

Necklace Storage

Hello Lovies,  I hope you are all doing well and enjoying your week. I certainly am as it's half term!
I just wanted to share my necklace storage with you today. Before finding this storage solution, I used to keep my necklaces in boxes and was forever getting them in a tangle. That was until I came across these jewellery hangers from Primark. Costing around £2, I first purchased one and then went back for a second as my collection grew. They come in a few colour choices including bright pink, mint and black. I went for black to match the theme of my bedroom.

I used nail free hooks to attach the holders to the wall and I just ensure the weight of the necklaces are spread out along the hooks. I use one for smaller statement necklaces and then one for my longer chain necklaces.

I definitely recommend these hangers and you could easily pop these inside your wardrobe along with your clothes if you don't want them on show.

Bye lovelies, until next time. Stay happy, healthy and appreciative of life. :) xxx
