I've been meaning to test out the Makeup Revolution range, but wanted to wait until I visited Superdrug to see the products in the 'flesh' before I purchased them, instead of ordering online.
As it happened, I was in luck as Superdrug are currently doing their 3 for 2 offer on all their makeup. I do love a bargain!
In the end I went for two of their largest eyeshadow palettes (they only had these two palettes in this style) and one blusher palette. The first of the eyeshadow palettes that caught my eye was the Flawless 32 eyeshadow palette. The colours are neutral browns, golds and metallics, similar to those from the Urban Decay Naked palettes, but just a fraction of the price at £8. I would definitely recommend this for Asian skin tones.
Swatches from last row. Pure Chocolate to Night.
Swatches from second row. Almost there to Blue Stars.
The second palette I picked up was Eyes Like Angels Palette. This palette has metallic tones as well as much brighter colours. There are a few mattes, but most shadows have a hint of shimmer to them. This palette was also £8.
Swatches of the top row. Black Stars to Peacock Dream.
Swatches of the last row. Green Envy to Silver Dream.
As you can see all these shadows have great pigmentation and for the price, you get a lot! The odd eyeshadows are powdery but that's common with cheaper palettes like this. I would definitely recommend these palettes. I may have to purchase some of the others!
For my final and free product I went for the Sugar and Spice Blusher palette which contains 8 Blushers, two of which are baked Blushers. This palette only cost £6, which would be the average cost of just one blusher!
The bottom four Blushers work perfectly with my skin tone. One of the Blushers was very powdery and one is too shimmery and light to work as a blusher for me, but may work well as a highlighter.
Overall these 3 products cost me £16, and for that I got, 64 eyeshadows and 8 Blushers!
Hope this helps!
Bye lovelies, until next time. Stay happy, healthy and appreciative of life :) xxx
